I agreed to pay the $12.00 to have it put in. She picked her color and I stood in shock as they pulled out a nearly invisible feather and tucked it into her hair. $12.00 for something invisible. She left the shop unhappy and I left after making a few statements about expecting a little more visibility unhappy as well. I am a do it yourself kind of mom, so I came home and began exploring Amazon for feather extension products. Noticed a lot of synthetic products and actually ordered one set of synthetic with this order. Stay away from the synthetic, unless you know what you're getting into, the feathers are stiff, and the colors tend to be a little too bold. These feathers are shorter than my daughter's long hair, but I found that I could layer the feathers down one strand of hair, covering the beads making a neat look. I change her feathers every couple of weeks, and the feathers I take out are still in great...
