Inserting Clip on Extensions

STEP 1 Separate hair at the crown and hold with a clip or rubberband.


STEP 2 Flex the clip to the open position and place at the point where the hair is separated. Use the grooves of the clip to secure to your natural hair, and flex the clip to the closed position.

When I recently purchased this product I bought the dark chestnut brown. When I received them they were full of gray hair! I am only 25 and don't plain on going so gray just yet. I decided to wear them a few times anyway and thought I could just dye them myself later. Eventually I had to wash them with a mild shampoo and let them air dry, just like the instructions say. They became so dry and brittle I would hate to see them after a dye job. So I sent an email to Arama asking them about the extensions conditions, and the person over customer service was awful. First, he or she told me that they new that some had gray in it, but sent them anyway. Then they told me in basic terms that I was a liar that no one had ever told them that their product was dry or brittle. Well, excuse me! He finally agreed to exchange them when I sent mine back at my expense. I sent them back with my email address, name, address, phone number, and purchase order number. They blend in with my real hair so naturally you can't tell the difference. I did have to color them to match my shade better. The clips are easy to use and are gentle; if you have a sensitive head from pulling. You don't feel this any more then a small clip barrette in your hair. One set was not enough for my hair and I have thin fine hair. I would recommend more then one set just to get a full natural look. I loved them so much, I am buying another set in blond and I plan to dye them purple. How fun these are, better than a wig. Each and every one of the feathers in the bundle was gorgeous! They were long, beautifully colored, and very high quality (including many of the popular grizzly feathers). Not only did the extension look beautiful, but it included two of the crimping beads for easy installation. For the record, you can put these feathers in yourself without the special beading kit (with the looping wire and small pliers), or a hair stylist. You can simply select the strand of hair you wish to put the feather bundle on, wet it and then twist it so the micro bead can easily slip onto the hair strand (about 1 cm from root. Then, insert the bundle into the bead, and use a simple pair of pliers to "smoosh" the bead down which allows the bundle to stay in place. You can also trim the top of the extension that may be sticking out from the top of the bead where your hair root is. Seeing as it can be 60 + dollars to get as little as 3 individual... This ultimate set comes in its compact retail packaging and includes: (20) 5"-7" 100% Natural Rooster Feathers - dyed, (20) 16" Synthetic Feather Extensions - dyed, (50) Silicone micro beads in 5 colors -10 each (Black, Dark Brown, Lighter Brown, Blond and Lighter Blond) and (1) Wooden Hook used to slide the bead on to your hair. All extensions in this kit are either solid or grizzly (stripped) colored. For the Synthetic Feather extensions, which are NOT feathers but rather made of "synthetic hair strand fibers" come in solid & grizzly color This easy, do-it-yourself kit comes with all the main components, all you'll need to supply is the pliers, either needle-nose or craft pliers will work. All extensions can be cared for and styled like real hair; extensions can be curled, flat ironed, blow-dried and shampooed like real hair. If cared for properly, these extensions can be reused over and over again. Step 1: Prep your wooden hook-n-slide tool by inserting a silicone micro bead through the wooden hook - choose the bead that matches your current hair color the most.
