The ends fray quickly. The feathers were uneven sizes. I would not recommend to a friend, sorry! However they were alot thinner than what I thought they were going to be. The light blue one faded to white like the 2nd day I washed my hair. Other than that I liked them. I also seperated them into 2 different extentions. However the color faded out of them much too quickly - one week later there was noticeable color loss, and now after 12 days I am taking them out because the colors are almost gone. This review is from: 3 Turquoise Synthetic Hair Faux Feather Hair Extensions with Bonded Tips (Misc.) I ordered these because I am not a fan of feather extensions because they're extremely inhumane. I liked that I could just order a colored hair extension and get the look of this trend. I've gotten non-stop compliments and people wanting to know where I got these instead of the feathers. I've also found they last longer. Feathers will wear out and fall apart, where these will not. If the bonding at the tips wears down, head over to the local beauty supply store and buy extension bonding drops you can use to re-bond the tip with a heating tool (I use a straightener on high heat and clean it after wards). These can be washed and styled with low heat. I straighten them on the lowest heat setting possible. I have tested them on high heat, and they can withstand the heat, but they won't look as smooth. I wish they were made of human hair, so I wouldn't have to worry about the heat, but they stay pretty loose and blend well with my hair so I can say I'm satisfied. The turquoise color is... When I took these out the package I did not think they were going to hold up great as they looked a little fly away but my daughter has had them in her hair for weeks and they look awesome. they blend in well and there are no fly always. She washes and dries her hair everyday and uses products sometimes and they have lasted longer then the actual feather one she had in before. I like this item. Yes, it is synthetic hair but it is as smooth as real hair and the silicone lined beads that come with it hold it in place really good. I think the other people were merely overreacting to what they received. The only thing bad that happened was one of my beads were crushed. But i took some pliers and re-opened it and it wasn't cracked. I like this product and the color is great in my dark brown hair. I would recommend this product. I don't know why there were so many bad comments. I am a teenager and I really love this in my hair.
